My newly discovered system is based on 7 things. One for each day of the week. Monday I focus on Exercise.
Having a focus for each day of the week helps me to go deeper on a particular topic. Studying the science of movement will help us to exercise with greater attention to detail and meaning.
1st Corinthians 9:23-27 I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.
24 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
Run with purpose. When you exercise you can use that time to do more than build strength, improve endurance, flexibility and stamina. You can also use that 30-60 minutes to think about your own personal ministry and pray.
Mondays and Thursdays I workout lower body muscles.
Tuesday and Friday I focus on upper body exercises.
This gives me a system that is very straightforward. Easy to remember and follow.
Besides these workouts I try to get outside each day for a walk or out on my mountain bike. Life is easier now because I have been following my R.E.N.E.W.A.L system for 4 months.

Discipline yourself like an athlete.
You have a ministry. Do not let yourself be disqualified in ministry because you are out of shape. Turn your life around today. If I can do it, you can do it.
